The 5 Best Beauty Products To Try In 2019

This article is perfect for you if you’re looking for the best beauty products right now, or simply would like to read my beauty product reviews.

I love trying new beauty products and used to be a devoted subscriber to Birchbox, which I fully intend to start up again soon. These products are ones I have tried and loved most recently.

Beauty pick 1: Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish
Cleanse and Polish is a solid favourite in the skincare industry, one of the highest rated beauty products, I can see why. I actually picked up a sample of Cleanse and Polish from my local Boots as I was unsure at first. However, since then, I have bought my first full-sized bottle.

It comes with a polish cloth which initially confused me a little as it’s quite rough. However, I have grown to love it as the perfect gentle exfoliator for my sensitive skin.

To apply, all you do is massage the cleanse and polish cream onto your face and then wipe off with the warm cloth. It leaves my skin feeling super clean.

What I really love about Cleanse and Polish is the addition of the cocoa butter and rosemary, which gives the product a real naturalistic and earthy smell.

The tester (30ml) lasted me for around 4 weeks, so a small amount really goes a long way.

I’ll definitely be using Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish throughout 2019. You can find the product on Liz Earle’s website here.

Beauty pick 2: Fill + Tame Brow Gel by Beautaniq
So this little wonder arrived in my Birchbox months ago, however I sort of let it slip to the bottom of my makeup bag and never really give it a chance.

Upon sorting out my makeup, I came across the Fill + Tame Brow Gel again and decided to give it a go. Honestly? I’m gutted I didn’t try this one sooner.

I’d say it’s a makeup bag essential for anyone wanting fuller looking eyebrows. What I love most about the Fill and Tame Brow Gel is that it dries super quick and doesn’t smudge once it’s on.

As I’m quite fair naturally, I use the ‘Blonde’ shade, however they also stock Brunette, Black and Clear shades too.

I buy it directly from Birchbox’s website and for £8.60 you can’t go wrong! You can find it here.

Beauty pick 3: Clarins Eclat Minute: Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector
As a Christmas gift Clarins’ Eclat Minute is a total game changer. I use colour 06 / Rosewood Shimm. It actually looks a lot lighter when applied to the lips but it offers a great shimmer. I also really like how it plumps out my lips but isn’t harsh on my skin, in fact I personally found it quite rehydrating.

The miniature size is perfect for your handbag or clutch bag and the colour lasts a long time before having to re-apply.

I can’t wait to try more colours, way to go Clarins. Find the full product along with other reviews here.

Beauty pick 4: Benefit’s BANG Mascara
Again, thanks to Birchbox I found this little gem. This is my go-to mascara for full looking lashes.

BANG Mascara is perfect for a night out and really ads that ‘wow’ factor. With just a couple of applications, my eyelashes look thicker and longer.

What I really like about Benefit’s BANG Mascara is it lasts for a really long time and it doesn’t smudge for me.

You can purchase the product directly from Benefit’s website here.

Beauty pick 5: Liz Earle’s Skin Repair Moisturiser
If, like me, you have overly dry skin then you’ll know how frustrating it is constantly looking for products to give your skin some hydration.

I have tried everything, but so far the only product to really stand out for me has been Liz Earle’s Skin Repair Moisturiser. It initially caught my eye because Liz Earle’s products are made with all natural ingredients which I really like and I had read some good reviews online, so was determined to give it a go.

I have to say, I wasn’t disappointed. The cream isn’t too thick but not too thin or gel-like either, it really just meets in the middle of the two.

The smell is all natural and the avocado oils really jump out, which makes my skin smell and feel amazing. In fact, after just one application before heading to sleep, I woke up with soft and glowing skin.

I use this in the morning before applying my makeup and of an evening before I sleep – out of all of the beauty products on this list – this is my number one. You can find it here on the Liz Earle website.

Since trying these products and giving my skin the love it deserves, I am determined to:
a) Drink more water
b) Not wear foundation through the week
c) Stick to my skin care routine daily using the beauty products I mentioned above.

I’d love to hear your skincare routines, or even what your favourite beauty products are right now. Comment below and let’s share the skin-love!
