Winter is all about smelling great and feeling cosy.
In this article I have covered my favourite winter perfumes for women, I have trialled and tested each one, I’d love to hear your favourite Autumn/Winter fragrances in the comments below!
For me, winter depicts scents of cinnamon, orange and spices. Sweet with a touch of spice were really the fragrances I was looking for, but you’ll find some alternatives in here too.
Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum Roberto Cavalli’s perfume is one of the sweetest I have come across. In fact, it’s one of the only perfumes I’ve found that have nailed the balance between sweet and sophisticated.
What I really like about this one is that just a few sprays carries a long way, so it’s super cost effective. I’d describe the bottle as glamorous, but what it holds inside is both smooth and polished. I’d definitely repurchase. Retail price approx. £64 for 75ml from Boots UK.
Daisy by MARC JACOBS Most of you will already be familiar with Marc Jacobs’ Daisy perfume, but for me it’s a total classic. Why? Because I think it’s one of the best light perfumes for women. The scent isn’t overpowering, it’s very elegant. If I had to describe Daisy as a wine, it’d be a soft Pinot Grigio, everyone’s a winner with this one. Retail price approx. £55 for 50ml from Boots UK.
Rose Radiant Gold by Michael Kors I really like the sleek and modern look of the Rose Radiant Gold’s bottle. With notes of botanics and blossom, the scent is as soft as the bottle’s exterior. It’s captivating and, in my opinion, is perfect for this festive season if you’re looking for more of a modern scent. Retail price approx. £70.96 from John Lewis UK.
Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum I’d describe Tiffany & Co’s fragrance as clean and crisp. I feel refreshed with every spray, and the exterior mirrors this as it’s clear, simple and chic.
The tones are natural and earthy all drawn together by the tantalising bottle it’s held in. What I really like about Tiffany & Co’s fragrance is that you can have the bottle engraved, making it the perfect gift with a touch. Retail price approx. £52 for 30ml from tiffany.co.uk.
Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone Jo Malone’s products are luxurious, the packaging that the perfume arrived in is affluent in itself. Pomegranate Noir’s fruity and spicy aroma is both fearless and mysterious. What I love about this one is that it’s not gender specific and it’s totally timeless. In fact, trying it on different people brings out different aspects of the scent, who would’ve thought?! Plus, it’s the perfect travel size, fits easy in my wash bag and handbag. Well done Jo Malone, Pomegranate Noir is officially my go-to A/W scent. Retail price approx. £47 for 30ml from jomalone.co.uk.
Overall, I think any one of the perfumes listed above would make a great gift this festive season, and that concludes my favourite winter scents for 2018.
